I'm thrilled, tickled pink really that Penn won. Hopefully this will just cement his name on that Oscar statuette. The fact, though, that 'Slumdog' did indeed take Ensemble is absolutely revolting. I'm really starting to feel the backlash.

ReplyDeleteI'm just so ecstatic that Penn won, nothing could get bring me down too heavily. I was over my friends house and I started SHRIEKING when it happened. I just don't understand how anyone could think 'Slumdog Millionaire' has the best ensemble cast of the year. It just doesn't. And you know I liked the movie enough. It doesn't have it, period.

ReplyDeleteBut yes, Sean winning was incredibly awesome. Of course, I just saw The Wrestler this afternoon so I'm a little high on Mickey, but Sean is still better IMO. Not by much. Damn it they're both incredible.
